CPM Workshop - Rwanda - August, 2009

Dear fellow church-planters:

Greetings in Christ. This message is to inform you of a rare training opportunity that could be very important to your future church planting efforts.

Most of us who work in church planting have focused our efforts on one small church or at most three to five churches, working hard for several years to establish them in faith, knowledge and leadership. Often we carry a great burden of work that should be shared with new disciples who can be trained to plant, not 5 churches, but 50 or 500 churches.

Imagine making disciples who make other disciples who in turn can introduce the good news of Christ to whole communities you yourself could never reach! Imagine implementing the 'multiplication principle' of 2 Tim. 2:2 to initiate a church-planting movement that could lead thousands to Christ!

Training Location: In August 2009, Church Planting Movements training will be offered in Kigali, Rwanda and hosted by Africa Transformation Network.

Facilitators: The workshops will be facilitated by D. Watson, a mission Strategy Coordinator whose work in Asia and Africa has led to the planting of more than 80,000 churches and 4 million baptized believers in the last 15 years. At the same time the training will be offered in French by Younoussa Djao, a renowned church planting trainer in West Africa.

Dates:

Who should attend? - People who are actively involved in making disciples and planting churches; and people who are training others in disciple-making. This training is for people who passionately desire to find better ways to share the gospel with others.
